This can be distracting when performing or recording.

The downside of using a smaller buffer size is that the smaller the buffer size / latency, the bigger the processing load on your computer.

Start out with an ASIO latency setting (buffer size) of 512 and verify if this gives you artifact-free results.

If not, increase the buffer size by one increment at a time and try again.
